Job Overview:
The After School and Lunch Program Educator plays a crucial role in our educational community, executing essential responsibilities for the daily operations of the institution.

This position involves supervising students from Kindergarten to 4th grade during indoor and outdoor activities, including playtime, crafts, and snack periods. The educator will ensure a secure and nurturing environment for our enthusiastic and engaged learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities.
  • Support students with their homework assignments.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow faculty and staff.
  • Ensure the safe supervision and care of students at all times.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Previous experience working with children is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience and the ability to connect with diverse colleagues and students, are essential.

To succeed in this role, an individual must be capable of performing each key duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

This role requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and rising from the floor, as well as listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English. It may also involve carrying, lifting, repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally pushing, pulling, or bending. Regular hearing and clear vision, with or without correction, are necessary.
