Position Overview

The After School Program Educator plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive and engaging environment for students in grades Kindergarten through 4th. This position is essential for the daily operations of our educational institution, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere for children during their after-school hours.

Key Responsibilities

As an After School Program Educator, you will:

1. Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
2. Plan and facilitate creative arts and crafts, games, and recreational activities.
3. Assist students with their homework and academic tasks.
4. Collaborate effectively with fellow educators and staff to enhance the learning experience.
5. Maintain a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A high school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues alike.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to frequently walk, stand, sit, and engage in various physical activities. Candidates should be able to lift, carry, and perform repetitive movements as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $23.00.
