Position Summary
As a member of the Technology Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in pre-sales initiatives, collaborating with internal teams, Nitel partners, and clients to craft customized solutions that address the specific needs of our enterprise and wholesale customers. Your expertise will bridge technology with tangible business outcomes during pre-sales engagements, emphasizing the technical facets of the sales cycle, including risk evaluation and trade-off assessments. Your responsibilities will involve strategic thinking regarding business, product, and technical results during pre-sales presentations, technical discussions, and requirements gathering to develop effective client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support our sales teams through presentations, demonstrations, RFPs, and act as a technical liaison with Engineering.
- Engage with prospective or existing clients through channel communities to ascertain technical needs and expectations.
- Develop comprehensive designs for proposed solutions; proficiency in Visio is essential.
- Contribute to the formulation of formal sales strategies and proposals for sales opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and consistently communicate, the Nitel brand and company specifics, competitive customer solutions, as well as product strengths and weaknesses.
- Participate in strategic discussions with cross-functional teams to identify challenges, client needs, processes, and timelines for final product delivery.
- Provide training on solutions and technology to sales teams and channel partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years in a Solution Architect or Sales Engineering role.
- At least three years of experience with SD-WAN technologies; familiarity with VeloCloud, Versa, Fortinet, and Netskope platforms is advantageous.
- Minimum three years of experience with Firewall technologies; experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of security infrastructure, XDR, ZTNA, SIEM, and threat protection/intelligence solutions.
- Professional-level networking experience with TCP/IP, Ethernet, Dynamic Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, SD-WAN, and Cloud Networking.
- Knowledge of network management, data centers, LAN/WAN, structured cabling, and enterprise data network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with business development and sales processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities and proficiency in PowerPoint.
