DePuy Synthes Trauma provides a robust array of trauma care solutions tailored for treating both simple and complex trauma injuries, utilizing both traditional and minimally invasive methods.


The primary duties of the Sales Representative include delivering clinical and customer support within hospitals and surgical procedures, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing sales logistics, and demonstrating technical expertise alongside comprehensive product knowledge.

Sales Representatives are also responsible for achieving sales targets, covering surgical cases, and nurturing relationships with surgeons and accounts within their designated territory, while promoting the full range of products, services, and solutions available to assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:


Assist the DePuy Synthes sales team in maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients while facilitating product transitions with new clients.

Contribute to the achievement of established sales objectives, including market share goals within the designated territory. Leverage knowledge of the sales process, product offerings, and customer insights to enhance sales performance.
Guide and support surgeons in the operating room through expert clinical and product knowledge. Utilize product expertise to present, demonstrate, and ensure the accurate application of DePuy Synthes products.
Support clients by attending surgical procedures, ensuring the availability and functionality of necessary equipment, and optimizing surgical trays; provide consultation for Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments.
Troubleshoot and offer technical assistance; manage customer inquiries, effectively lead hospital billing processes, and facilitate the creation and closure of purchase orders.

Share valuable insights regarding customers, procedures, and market trends with other sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to enhance service levels and solutions.

Prepare necessary sales reports and documentation as required.
Maintain, track, and efficiently deploy equipment and assets throughout the assigned region, ensuring product availability. Ensure all promotional materials are presented professionally. Uphold the highest quality standards for DePuy Synthes services and offerings.

Focus on customer satisfaction and retention, enhancing clients' understanding of DePuy Synthes' tangible and intangible value propositions and solutions.

Differentiate DePuy Synthes products from competitors by providing unique insights to customers.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or
Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience or
A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience or
Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty.

Other:

Ability to work in a laboratory/operating room environment.
A valid driver's license issued in the United States.
Willingness to travel, which may include weekends and/or overnight stays.
Residence in or ability to relocate to the specified territory.
Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.
A qualified candidate will be efficient, organized, self-motivated, positive, and proactive.
Strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions is preferred.
