Job Overview

Definity First is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Business Development to lead our sales efforts and drive growth in the Microsoft platform space. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that meets and exceeds our annual contract sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve and exceed an annual contract sales target of $2.5M in your first 12 months.
  • Engage in targeted prospecting efforts, identifying and qualifying potential clients through personal outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Cultivate a network of contacts within a high-potential industry or vertical, driving at least 50% of your sales target through these relationships.
  • Partner with Definity First specialists to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of Microsoft platform solutions and our services.
  • Lead negotiations and close contracts, working closely with legal and management teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our technical and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
  • Share insights on customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape with our management, operations, and marketing teams.
Requirements
  • Proven success in sales for Microsoft platform related services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets over the last 3 years.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technology-related field.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer focus with a proven ability to manage and grow client relationships.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics F&O, and Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement.
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
