Communication Specialist

Aegis Therapies is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a Nursing Home setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, using evidence-based techniques and strategies to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, using standardized assessment tools and reporting procedures.
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Experience working with geriatric patients and populations with complex communication needs.
