We are in search of a Unified Communications Specialist to oversee and evaluate our Cisco Call Manager Systems and their integrations. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and a proven track record in its management and monitoring.

The Unified Communications Specialist will be tasked with the coordination, organization, and maintenance of our unified communication systems, ensuring the effective implementation and upkeep of system interfaces.

This technical role will focus on supporting VoIP systems and contact center technologies within the Unified Communications Infrastructure, particularly with Cisco Call Manager, Cisco UCCX, and Cisco Unity Connection.

The Specialist will collaborate with various technology teams and end-users to guarantee high-quality operations and efficient communication across voice, chat, video, text, and other collaborative technologies. Responsibilities include modifying communication systems, providing hardware and software support, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assess the company's Cisco Call Manager Systems and their integrations.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Cisco Call Manager.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication.
  • Formulate and execute communication strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integration of Cisco Call Manager with various systems and tools.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior IT personnel.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in communication technologies.
  • Manage operational activities including incidents, changes, problem management, service requests, health checks, proactive maintenance, patching, upgrades, backups, and on-call support.
  • Engage in project activities such as requirement generation, solution design, implementation, testing, training, and transition.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Networking and Information Security.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and monitoring Cisco Call Manager Systems and integrations.
  • Proven experience in supporting various unified communications solutions and implementations, with familiarity in hardware and software systems including on-premise data centers, Cisco, Dell, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with network protocols such as H.323, SIP, DHCP, and DNS is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
Work Schedule

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility required for issues and upgrades.
