Job Title: Diesel Fleet Technician

EquipmentShare is seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team in Carlsbad, NM. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services on our company-owned trucks and trailers.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diesel Fleet Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with trucks and trailers
  • Inspect and test vehicles to ensure they meet new state or DOT standards
  • Travel to different locations to perform maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license required
  • At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience required
  • Welding experience required
  • Air Brake Certification required
  • DOT Inspector Certification preferred
  • Must have proper tools
