Administrative Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Healthcare Assistant to join our team at New England Ambulatory SurgiCenter.
Job Description:This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 7:15AM-3:45PM. FREE Parking.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth operation of the medical facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in/out.
- Support medical staff by performing routine clinical tasks, such as preparing patient charts and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with preparation of patients for office visits and/or pre-op procedures.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure proper billing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and disposing of waste.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of electronic medical records systems, preferably EPIC.
- Certification or training in medical terminology and coding preferred.
Estimated Salary: $48,000 - $62,000 per year based on location and experience.
