Corporate Group Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Group Sales Account Executive to join our team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for generating revenue and providing sales support to our Global Corporate & Incentive Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with our Global Sales Representatives and Field/Inside sales reps to keep them informed of account activities and close business.
  • Proactively make outbound contacts with customers to follow up on lead generations for Global Meeting and Incentive Groups.
  • Align and collaborate with the High Complexity TSS team to ensure all onboard programs are requested and confirmed prior to contract signing.
  • Interpret price requirements from Revenue Management and calculate cost to produce maximum yields that meet clients' needs while meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Persuade customers to book Celebrity Cruises business by emphasizing marketable features and benefits.
  • Qualify client needs and present alternatives to secure business.
  • Responsible for generating contracts for all Incentive/Meeting groups over 101 staterooms.
  • Serve as a backup to other AE's and Associates in the department.
  • Work closely with Hotel Operations, Marine, OBR, and other departments as needed for customization requests from Corporate Meeting, Incentive clients.
  • Network with internal departments to action requests and complete tasks.
  • Ensure execution of amendments and revisions of existing contracts.
  • Create SOP for follow-up campaigns on expired options or options about to expire to close all business.
  • Track all quotes.
  • Handle inbound sales leads and convert calls into sales or leads.
  • Responsible for creating product awareness and educating accounts on Celebrity Cruises.
  • Facilitate site inspections as necessary.
  • Participate in tradeshows, trainings, seminars, business meetings, and presentations to support corporate and incentive sales initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Ability to analyze problems and follow a logical course for resolution.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to view a situation from all angles and determine the best course of action, considering all details.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills required.
  • Able to travel and assist on in-person sales calls as required.
