Job Summary

A Financial Services Representative at New York Community Bank provides exceptional customer service by greeting clients and delivering high-quality financial services. This role involves processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining operational standards and assisting the team in meeting branch goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
  • Client Experience: Provide positive client experiences by assisting with account questions, problems, and complaints. Deliver client engagement and education, meeting behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership.
  • Management: Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions, striving for no controllable preventable losses. Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations.
  • Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
  • Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job, completing required compliance trainings.

Requirements:

  • High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent, required
  • 0 – 3 years of customer service and sales experience, required
  • Experience in the financial services industry, preferred
