Technical Support Analyst

Position: Windows 11 Support Technician
Location: On-site in a corporate environment
Contract Duration: 3-month engagement
Compensation: Up to $24 per hour
*Note: This position requires in-office presence five days a week.
The Windows 11 Support Technician will play a crucial role in assisting company personnel with the transition of their laptops to Windows 11. This position involves managing ServiceNow tickets, monitoring the reimaging process, and handling requests for loaner laptops. The technician will prepare loaner devices using standard enterprise images and ensure that all requests are tracked from initiation to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Backing up user data from local hard drives to OneDrive to prevent data loss.
- Saving preferred browser bookmarks and other local items, and restoring them to the reimaged laptops.
- Providing necessary adjustments to ensure that reimaged laptops are fully operational for users.
- Troubleshooting basic PC issues related to the reimaging process and escalating more complex issues to appropriate personnel for quick resolution.
Daily Tasks:
- Reimaging laptops to Windows 11.
- Collaborating with various IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Tracking service tickets and managing loaner laptop logistics during the reimaging process.
- Installing and configuring computers as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows operating systems, particularly in reimaging.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for ticket management.
- Previous experience in computer assembly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in helpdesk support.
- Knowledge of Active Directory.
