Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily support to end users and facilitate training on Microsoft Windows 10/11, Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and other specialized applications.
  • Manage the distribution and installation of new hardware, including PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Install and set up new software applications as required.
  • Troubleshoot common issues related to PC equipment and software.
  • Conduct inventory assessments of automation equipment.
  • Assist with IT-related procurement processes when necessary.
  • Travel to various divisional offices and locations as needed.
  • Perform additional automation-related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of two years of general experience and one year of specialized experience equivalent to work at a comparable level.

General Experience:
Knowledge of computer operations and capabilities, familiarity with hardware and software applications, and a general understanding of office work and personal computing are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions, manage multiple tasks, and effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing.

Specialized Experience:
Experience in installing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10/11, Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, and other commercial software applications is required. Candidates should also have experience with routine hardware maintenance and troubleshooting for computers, monitors, printers, and scanners. A basic understanding of audiovisual systems, networking concepts, and server administration is beneficial. Familiarity with programming languages such as PowerShell or Python is a plus but not mandatory.
