Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide confidential support to the Mayor of the City of Chattanooga. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Mayor, including responding to citizen inquiries and complaints, screening calls, and handling issues.
  • Assist in managing and prioritizing the flow of information to the Mayor and senior staff.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend special events and meetings on behalf of the Mayor.
  • Prepare reports and engage in other special projects as designated by the Mayor.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, boards, and commissions to coordinate activities and exchange information.
  • Prepare and process a variety of reports, lists, correspondence, and other documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Two years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of administrative principles, public relations, budgeting, and contract development and management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
