Job Summary

Aramark Uniform Services is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative Driver to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth in our designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company step van to provide products and services to clients in a designated area.
  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
  • Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Load and unload products according to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  • Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  • Develop leads and prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
  • Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
  • Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Take responsibility for personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and three years of driving experience.
  • Excellent customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
  • Strong math and basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.

Working Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with irregular and long hours. The successful candidate must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 pounds and load/unload product from the truck without assistance. Occasional lifting of 50+ pounds may be required.

Education

High school degree or equivalent required.

License Requirements

Valid driver's license required.
