Position Overview:

As a key member of the CBRE team, the HVAC Maintenance Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various facilities. This position involves conducting preventive maintenance and executing repairs on a range of mechanical and industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, and control systems to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Evaluate work orders, estimate necessary materials and time for repairs, and maintain an adequate inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of building systems and machinery.
  • Conduct inspections of HVAC and plumbing systems to verify operational efficiency and adherence to design specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety protocols in building operations.
  • Utilize company vehicles for daily operational tasks as required.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of industry principles and techniques to address complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and share expertise with team members across various disciplines.
  • Exemplify leadership qualities and promote CBRE's core values while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Influence customer service and operational activities within the team and related departments.
  • Operate within established guidelines and policies while effectively communicating sensitive information.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma. Universal CFC certification and a valid driver's license are mandatory.
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting heavy loads and performing various physical tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on diverse information sources.
  • Open-mindedness towards innovative solutions and approaches.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional organizational skills coupled with a proactive mindset.
