Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Ensure the operation and security of our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures to protect our network from vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Network Development: Design and implement new network architectures and technologies to support our research and administrative functions.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve network performance issues and security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our research teams and other stakeholders to understand their network requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in network administration, security, and development.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of network protocols, security measures, and compliance regulations. Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certifications.
- Clearance: Current, fully adjudicated TOP SECRET (Tier 5) clearance.
- Experience: Experience working in a DoD-type environment, with knowledge of NIST/ISO standards and DoD directives.
- Skills: Familiarity with next-generation firewalls, secure server administration, and network enclave development.
