Key Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Accountable for the delivery and upkeep of automation-centric systems and solutions that facilitate flexible, innovative, cost-efficient, compliant, and quality-driven manufacturing processes in the biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Provide automation support for daily operations, continuous enhancements, and projects across various manufacturing areas, including Pilot Plant, Bulk Manufacturing, Filling, Assembly, Packaging, Utilities, Facilities, and other DCS and PLC Automated Equipment and Control Systems within a GMP-regulated environment. This includes implementing technical modifications to existing control system hardware and software, as well as overseeing vendor modifications, which involves developing specifications and testing documentation.
  • Utilize experience and judgment to strategize and achieve objectives with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency in the design, configuration, support, and testing of systems such as Delta V DCS, Siemens BMS, SCADA/PLC control systems, and/or OSI PI is essential.
  • Support for additional Automated Control Systems, including Simatic and Rockwell HMIs, Cognex Vision Systems, Sick Sensors, and Serialization (Track and Trace) systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering, ideally in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, including four (4) years in project leadership and four (4) years in a GMP environment, plus five (5) years of automation experience.
