Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of the management team, you will assist in overseeing daily store operations and driving sales performance while ensuring exceptional customer and donor service.

Management Responsibilities
  • Supervise the efficient processing of donated items, ensuring adherence to production standards.
  • Foster teamwork among management staff to achieve store objectives.
  • Coach and develop the management team, overseeing the training of store personnel.
  • Address employee concerns, providing performance feedback and conducting evaluations.
  • Administer disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Area Manager and Human Resources.
Operational Duties
  • Oversee the store's overall performance, including sales, donations, and financial reporting.
  • Manage revenue goals and budgetary expenses to enhance store profitability.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and register operations.
  • Organize store operations to facilitate excellent customer service and profitability.
  • Maintain store appearance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Customer Relations
  • Uphold high standards of customer service, reinforcing Goodwill's mission.
  • Complete various administrative tasks, including store opening and closing procedures.
Additional Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized production area, facilitate the loading and unloading of merchandise, and ensure proper training for employees on processing donated goods.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Advanced customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management and basic math.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
