Quality Control Coordinator role within our Engineering division and Materials Inspection sector.
Join a well-established and thriving manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication, offering a daytime work schedule.

Compensation: $19-$21/hr
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembles necessary documentation and generates customer data records.
  • Evaluates material test reports, ensuring compliance with set standards for acceptability.
  • Records accepted materials into the database.
  • Supports the management of warranty returns and corrective actions; gathers data to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepares identification plates and maintains a record of National Board registration numbers.
  • Creates and disseminates controlled versions of Quality documents, including Quality Control Manuals, QC Standards, and other procedural guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in a technical field (preferred) or a High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with ASME code, reviewing Material Test Reports, and technical documentation in a welding fabrication setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel (required).

This role is primarily office-based but requires some time spent on the manufacturing floor (PPE is necessary).
While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee may frequently encounter moving mechanical components and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
