Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Products: Perform visual and physical inspections of products and materials at various stages of production, utilizing inspection tools and equipment to measure and test product features against specifications.
  • Document Inspection Results: Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases.
  • Identify and Escalate Non-Conformities: Identify non-conformities and escalate any discrepancies to Quality and Manufacturing engineering support staff.
  • Collaborate with Production Teams: Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are understood and met.
  • Participate in Training and Development: Participate in training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies, keen attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings, basic math skills, and ability to use measurement tools.
