We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemist to join our Quality Control team at Arxada. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Method Development and Validation: Develop, validate, and improve analytical methods and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Quality Control Testing: Perform annual impurity testing for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and generate reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Raw Material Testing: Perform annual raw material testing for APIs and generate reports.
- Sample Testing and Reporting: Test samples and write protocols and reports for qualification materials.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot equipment issues in the laboratory to minimize downtime and assist in maintaining the Preventive Maintenance (PM) and calibration schedules for laboratory equipment.
- Special Project Testing: Execute special project testing as required.
- Training and Development: Provide support to laboratory technicians for testing in-process, final product, and wastewater samples, train new laboratory technicians, and develop existing staff.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other relevant sciences.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior QC Chemist in a laboratory environment.
- Skills: Experience working with microbiology technicians, performing stability pulls and reviews, generating protocols and reports, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Arxada offers a competitive salary range of $73,800 - $90,200, as well as a short-term incentive bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
