Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-driven Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team at Select Physical Therapy. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and Develop Referral Opportunities: Identify and develop referral opportunities with our customers, including physicians, hospital systems, case managers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate and Inform: Educate physicians, healthcare providers, and patients about our physical therapy and specialty services, highlighting the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Community Outreach and Engagement: Regularly participate in community outreach events to build relationships and promote our services.
- Relationship Building and Maintenance: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including referral sources and business partners.
- New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
- Utilize Sales Technology: Leverage sales technology and tools to set direction, improve results, and drive business success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Internet functions and applications.
- Experience: 2+ years of sales experience or business development experience, with prior healthcare sales experience preferred.
Select Physical Therapy is a nationally prominent, locally driven provider of outpatient physical rehabilitation with over 1900 locations in 39 states, including the District of Columbia. We operate primarily as Select Physical Therapy, NovaCare Rehabilitation, Kessler Rehabilitation Center, KORT, Saco Bay Physical Therapy, Concentra, SSM Physical Therapy, and Physio. Our highly respected clinical team provides preventative and rehabilitative services that maximize functionality and promote well-being. We develop individualized treatment plans to help achieve each patient's specific goals. Our integrated local market network allows us to effectively partner with physicians, employers, payors, and case managers to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a cost-effective manner. We also provide physical therapy and athletic training services to professional sports teams, colleges, universities, and high schools.
