We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Site Supervision: Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and other workers on the job site, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements.
- Project Planning: Review project plans and specifications to ensure they are accurate and complete, and work with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports.
- Communication: Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address issues and problems that arise during construction, ensuring that all work is completed to the required quality standards.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Several years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in the commercial or industrial sector.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements, strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
