Key Responsibilities:


The Senior Pricing Strategy Manager will spearhead a team dedicated to supplier pricing and cost management initiatives.

This position is crucial for strengthening supplier collaborations, refining pricing frameworks, and ensuring cost-effectiveness across the organization.

Core Functions:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Formulates and executes strategic initiatives for proactive supplier pricing and cost management, in line with organizational objectives.

Builds and maintains executive-level relationships with key suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and drive cost efficiencies.

Oversees the negotiation of intricate supplier contracts, ensuring advantageous terms and adherence to agreements.

Collaborates with senior management across merchandising, sales, and finance to synchronize supplier cost strategies with overall business goals.

Promotes best practices in cost management, ensuring ongoing improvement and innovation within the team and processes.

Tracks industry trends, market dynamics, and supplier behaviors to inform and adapt strategies proactively.

Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of supplier pricing and cost management efforts.


Leads and develops a team of managers and analysts, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and resources to perform their roles effectively.

Works with cross-functional teams to align supplier landed costs with business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to articulate complex issues clearly across various organizational levels, from executives to analysts.

Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities, with a proven history of organizing, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets accurately.

Proficient in influencing and educating the organization on pricing and cost management requirements.

Ability to effectively prioritize workload to enhance supplier or customer satisfaction while meeting performance metrics.

Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.

Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to guide a team and provide direction.

Familiarity with supply chain and merchandising processes.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Strong negotiation capabilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in supplier management, negotiations, and landed cost optimization.

A minimum of 4 years of management experience.
