We are in search of a Communications Manager who will take charge of all communications related to the EDAA program, crafting engaging narratives that motivate teams both within and beyond the EDAA division.
This role requires collaboration across various functions to articulate the transformation narrative, devise a comprehensive communication strategy, produce executive-level messaging, and simplify intricate concepts into clear, digestible information.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate a communication strategy that aligns with EDAA program goals, incorporating essential messages and channels to enhance understanding and engagement.
2. Create compelling narratives that convey the transformation story to diverse stakeholders at different phases of the program.
3. Customize key communications and messages for varied audiences across McDonald's markets and departments.
4. Simplify complex topics related to data, analytics, and AI into straightforward messages that can be easily understood by various collaborators.
5. Collaborate with leadership to establish an internal communication plan that provides clarity to impacted business areas.
6. Partner on executive communications to senior leadership, summarizing transformation objectives, advancements, and results.
7. Develop narratives that motivate teams and secure support for critical initiatives.
8. Produce clear and concise documentation by adhering to industry standards and McDonald's best practices and existing narratives.
9. Evaluate communication activities and their effectiveness to identify areas for improvement.
10. Provide ongoing updates on the status of various communication initiatives.
11. Serve as the primary editor for all EDAA Modernization communications.
12. Ensure that EDAA communication strategies and plans are in harmony with Corporate Communications strategies, initiatives, and standards.
