Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Consultant to join our team at Navistar, Inc. This role will play a critical part in assisting the Associate Director of Pricing in making tactical pricing decisions, conducting market analysis, and forecasting revenue and margin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to align with organizational objectives and product portfolio goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Pricing, Product, Procurement, Finance, and Sales, to drive profitable growth for Navistar and its dealer partners.
  • Analyze market trends and data to inform pricing recommendations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare business cases to assess the financial viability of pricing actions and investigate variances in data or plans.
  • Streamline and improve departmental processes, promote best practices, and coach and mentor peers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or mathematics.
  • At least 8 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis, with at least 1 year of lead experience.
  • OR Master's degree in a relevant field, with at least 6 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis, and at least 1 year of lead experience.
  • OR At least 10 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis, with at least 1 year of lead experience.
Desired Skills
  • Ability to follow a defined workflow and identify areas for improvement with a defined action plan.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet specific deadlines.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience presenting solutions and recommendations based on data.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of Pricing Solutions software and Business Analytics packages.
  • Training in SQL, Syncron, or similar data skill sets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
