New York, New York, United States Vista Global Full time

Job Overview

Vista Flight Support serves as a vital service provider for all operational partners within the Vista group. With a rich history of facilitating flights to over 1,900 airports across 96% of the globe, our commitment to unique flight experiences has been unwavering for two decades. We offer comprehensive operational and planning systems, alongside a suite of services essential for flight preparation, including route planning and trip support services that encompass ground arrangements, permits, and fuel management for our global fleet of over 360 aircraft.

As we continue to expand our horizons and resources, Vista Flight Support is on the lookout for dedicated Flight Support Agents to become integral members of our international team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Vista Flight Support, you will collaborate with our operating partners across various regulatory frameworks, including FAA and EASA environments.

At Vista Flight Support, we prioritize work-life balance, offering flexible arrangements for remote, hybrid, or office-based work across multiple global locations upon completion of training.

Starting your journey as a Flight Support Agent opens doors for internal mobility within the Vista group, allowing you to join one of our Operator's OCC teams, specialize in flight planning, training, or even pursue management opportunities.

Your experience with Vista Flight Support will be dynamic, challenging, and rewarding, with no two days being alike.

Key Responsibilities

The primary role of the Flight Support Agent is to oversee all operational logistics and ground services for each flight. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and updating the Global View platform – Vista's proprietary operations system, ensuring seamless communication with partner AOC's Tactical team, Sales, and Client Services;
  • Coordinating ground handling services, airport slots, and fuel arrangements for all flights in accordance with established protocols;
  • Engaging with external service providers (handling agents, FBOs, fuel suppliers, Civil Aviation Authorities, customs) regarding ground service arrangements and operational needs;
  • Requesting overflight and landing permits for all flights as per established procedures;
  • Submitting flight, crew, and passenger information to customs and border agencies;
  • Providing accurate and timely information on flight status during the planning phase (including flight times, fuel stop locations, and potential en-route issues);
  • Liaising and coordinating directly with the operating partners' Tactical Controllers regarding preparation status, communicating any discrepancies or non-standard preparations promptly;
  • Ensuring that all responsibilities are executed efficiently, always prioritizing safety and client satisfaction.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Business Aviation sector, particularly in Ground Operations, Flight Dispatch, or Flight Planning;
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while delivering results under pressure;
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language, enabling clear communication with stakeholders.

Our journey towards success is just beginning, and if you aspire to be part of our vision for innovation on a global scale, we welcome your interest.
