Job Summary

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking a highly skilled Air Traffic Control Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role will involve providing expertise on the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) program, with a focus on test planning, execution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ATC experience for the FAA's STARS program, developing and executing test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Demonstrate initiative, customer orientation, and teamwork competencies, working independently under general guidelines and objectives.
Additional Job Functions
  • Develop test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Execute test procedures in the lab environment.
  • Work individually and within a group/team.
  • Take direction and initiative, providing direction and training.
  • Communicate technical issues with non-technical people.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education level and Seventeen (17) years of National Airspace System (NAS) experience with a minimum of twelve (12) of those years as a Certified Professional Air Traffic Controller (CPC) in a civilian or military En Route, Oceanic or Terminal Air Traffic Control Facility.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Technical Tester with experience on one of the following NAS programs: STARS, Time Based Flow Management (TBFM), Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS), or Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Tester with the required knowledge plus experience in STARS/NAS and Test.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Located at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center; potential for hybrid schedule.
  • Limited (25% or less) travel to locations throughout the US.
