Job Summary

The Global Business Selling organization is responsible for the strategic direction of our business selling proposition and the success of thousands of business sellers on the eBay platform. We're seeking a Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations to support our global commercial programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators to track business performance and identify areas for improvement within commercial programs.
  • Develop strategic frameworks with key partners to enhance existing commercial programs and create new solutions for a top-class customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to discover and align on commercial program must-wins across process, company strategy, and seller experience.
  • Collaborate with key partners throughout the organization to drive strong partnerships and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Be accountable for defining business objectives and measuring progress in achieving results.
Requirements
  • A strong customer focus and experience with planning and execution in a large complex organization.
  • Results-oriented with a consistent record of managing metrics that impact business performance and an analytical approach.
  • Proven record of delivery and ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, influencing and collaborating across teams.
  • Ability to articulate vision and purpose for initiatives and programs related to long-term goals and objectives.
  • Experience with project, program management, and delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to gain trust and confidence with people at all levels.
  • Able to articulate challenges, blockers, and problems effectively and work through solutions with partners.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to tell a story across levels.
  • Highly organized, detailed problem solver who thrives on efficiency.
  • Passionate about attention to detail and comfortable with data, analytics, and modeling.
  • Desire to 'roll up your sleeves' to perform all functions from administrative processing to leading change initiatives.
  • Solid project management skills, having managed and successfully delivered multiple, complex projects timely and on-budget.
  • Highly inclusive and able to build relationships across different countries at various levels.
  • Exposure to ecommerce/marketplaces is advantageous.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS/MBA degree, with 8+ years of relevant experience within two or more functional areas.
  • Data analysis expertise with the ability to find trends and implications within data to inform sound decisions.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Focused execution, resourcefulness, and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience acting as the voice of the customer and channeling many points of view to drive alignment.
  • Experience communicating insights through data with senior-level executives.
  • Experience with complex CRM tools in a large organization.
  • Strong customer and partner empathy.
