Senior Manager

Marsh & McLennan Companies is seeking a Senior Manager - Strategy & Planning to join our team in New York. As a key member of our Strategy & Planning team, you will play a critical role in supporting the COO agenda and shaping the overall strategy of the North American region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and align plans to increase operational efficiency and help meet organizational strategic vision to achieve financial goals
- Conduct upfront analysis to help shape overall strategy of the region in areas such as hiring & staffing efficiencies, large-scale technical initiatives, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Plan and develop efforts or initiatives of a high nature of complexity, requiring the use of financial models to look at complex work and understanding business case work
- Manage multiple projects throughout the planning lifecycle, overseeing all aspects of complex projects, from start to finish, so that projects are completed on schedule
- Provide research, analysis, and recommendations on the external environment (competitors, industries, legislation, changing patterns of competition, trends, etc.) as part of the development of strategic plans
- 10+ years Management Consulting, or similar experience
- 5+ years Project Management experience, with the proven ability to work with various stakeholders and team members across business units, as well as experience in various functional areas such as technology, communications, finance, human resources, legal & compliance, etc.
- Subject matter expertise in Strategy & Planning, with experience managing large projects or processes that help create, drive, and sustain regional or global strategies
- Experience analyzing financial models and making business case recommendations based on that analysis
- Strong presentation skills with thought leadership experience and executive presence
