Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with senior internal and client team members to address critical business issues in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Your primary responsibilities will include managing project teams, developing project plans, and delivering value through innovative and actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional project teams in the delivery of projects across multiple areas of expertise, including product commercialization and launch, portfolio and product strategy, and organizational strategy and excellence.
  • Support project leadership in the development of project objectives and manage project plans.
  • Identify required project tasks, assign tasks to team members, and ensure task completion.
  • Design, execute, analyze, and synthesize primary and secondary research efforts.
  • Identify key insights, recommendations, opportunities, and threats to inform corporate and commercial strategies.
  • Engage with senior-level clients and develop strong relationships.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage top talent.
  • Identify business opportunities and support new business acquisition.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in new product commercialization, product launch, product strategy, and organizational strategy and excellence.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting the development of effective U.S. market access strategies, including subject matter expertise in U.S. Coverage, Coding, Payment, and Pricing.
  • Experience in understanding key market access decision makers, including organized customers and pathway decision makers.
  • Experience in understanding evidence needs to support market access and pricing.
  • Experience in understanding evolving healthcare policy and its impact on access.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in both the medical and pharmacy benefit across all major US payer segments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of reimbursement methodologies across core sites of care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree(s) (PhD, MD, MBA, MPH, JD, or MS).
  • 4+ years of life sciences consulting experience or comparable biopharma industry experience.

Blue Matter offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $160,000 - $175,000 depending on experience, and a generous incentive compensation structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending account, and paid parental leave.
