Job Summary

Emerson Hospital is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our Medical Surgical team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with nursing care of patients as needed, including vital sign collection and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year acute care experience or medical/surgical clinical experience preferred.
  • BLS healthcare provider certification required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Computer skills and ability to learn new software.
