Job Summary

Lennar Homes is seeking a highly skilled Land Entitlements Manager to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing due diligence for new acquisitions and the engineering and entitlements process for new communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with city officials, consultants, and community action groups to ensure necessary public approvals and permit issuances.
  • Work with development and operations teams to facilitate the development process.
  • Coordinate with attorneys to prepare and review development agreements and necessary agreements with city, county, federal, and regulatory agencies.
  • Represent the company at public hearings and related meetings to obtain necessary development and construction approvals.
  • Maintain positive company image with peers and municipalities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with city/county elected officials, planning commissions, review and staff members, as well as local organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Land Planning, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal developmental and environmental laws and local municipal planning and zoning requirements, civil engineering, and land planning and city/county requirements.
  • Strong community and area contacts and extensive knowledge of market area.
  • Advanced PC skills, including use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and writing capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic, team player.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
