About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team at INFICON. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in unlocking INFICON's potential and driving growth and innovation in our strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop a deep understanding of our customers' businesses, markets, and organizational needs.
    • Define and execute a long-term strategic account plan, aligned with INFICON's overall strategy.
    • Conduct regular account coordination activities with the INFICON strategic account team and other key stakeholders.
    • Review and update the global strategic account plan with the executive sponsor and senior management.
  • Growth and Development
    • Identify and capture growth opportunities across all revenue streams, including expanding our share of wallet, creating new applications, services, and business areas.
    • Support local sales and application teams in developing and executing opportunity plans.
    • Drive alignment between customer and INFICON R&D roadmaps and establish integrated partnerships across functions.
    • Facilitate early entry into new application areas and fab locations.
  • Communication and Relationship Management
    • Drive our agenda and strategy on a continuous and proactive level, creating a narrative that moves forward the account strategy.
    • Ensure relevant customer buying center members are informed about INFICON's latest solutions and facilitate similar sharing from customer to INFICON.
    • Ensure all relevant opportunities, activities, and information are visible in the chosen communication channel.
    • Encourage cross-region and cross-functional interaction between INFICON and the customer organization.
  • Deal Making and Negotiation
    • Drive holistic value creation and capture for the account, long-term and short-term.
    • Closely negotiate profitable and fair deals, mastering the art and science of negotiation.
    • Proactively initiate and facilitate global framework agreements, H&S, and CSR activities to ensure INFICON solutions are fully approved as a Tier 1 supplier.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    • +10-15 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the industry.
    • Experience as a negotiator, including contracts.
    • Proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong understanding of the industry, including current trends, technologies, and key players.
    • Technical proficiency with CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other sales enablement tools.
    • Familiarity with the product development lifecycle and ability to grasp complex technical products and solutions.
  • Other Requirements
    • Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and drive, with a strong commitment to excellence and accountability.
