Job Title: Business Technology Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Technology Program Manager to join our team at Cynet Systems. As a Business Technology Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing IT initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and managing programs and projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee IT initiatives and assign resources to project teams to complete deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with Client's and VITA policies, standards, and guidelines governing IT computer systems.
  • Oversee work and staff in assigned program to ensure consistent process and quality standards are implemented.
  • Supervise staff supporting assigned ITD function(s) and perform managerial and technical work ranging from simple to moderate difficulty.
  • Interact with peer supervisors and the IT Portfolio Managers to meet customer needs.
  • Plan, oversee, and implement delivery of technology projects or services.
  • Oversee staff assignments and priorities, develop training plans for team members, and develop and implement procedures, processes, and best practices.
  • Work with peers and subordinates to define strategic direction for assigned technology program and evaluate tools and prioritize work efforts with stakeholders from ITD and business units.
  • Identify business processes that may be improved with technology solutions and create processes and tools to facilitate increased efficiencies.
  • Provide status reports on project plans, timelines, schedules, and progress updates and participate in strategic planning for programs, projects, or systems.
  • Provide compliance management and ensure that staff comply with required VITA, DHRM, Client's, and ITD policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Responsible for tracking operational metrics on assigned ITD functions and apply those metrics to identify and improve function-specific processes.
Requirements:
  • Ability to supervise technical staff and programs.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate multiple projects and teams of a complex and technical nature.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse audiences and to make presentations and conduct meetings.
  • Skill in the use of computers and software applications.
  • Skill in technical troubleshooting to include applications, systems, and network problems, etc.
  • Ability to perform system analysis and design.
  • Ability to collect and organize performance metric data to present to management.
  • Ability to develop, interpret, and apply policies and procedures in an IT environment.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to develop and implement work plans.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in technologies appropriate to assigned program.
  • Skill in researching best practices and applying them to organizational guidelines and policies.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships and interact effectively with customers and vendors.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures in an IT environment.
  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing activities.
  • Knowledge of technology and methodology of computer and network systems and software.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Skill in managing IT functions including IT Governance and Compliance, Enterprise & Business Architecture, IT Service Mgmt, Asset Mgmt, Infrastructure and Ops, Application Development, PPM & Projects, or Data and BI Management.
  • Knowledge and skill with technologies and functions appropriate to leading an IT program area.
  • Skill in people and resource management.
  • Skill in leading IT professionals in the planning, analyzing, designing, developing, or implementing information technology programs, projects, or systems for a large organization.
