Job Overview

Position Summary:

Phaeton Solutions is looking for a Technology Project Management Educator to develop and enhance training materials and methodologies for technology project management. This role involves documenting processes through various tools such as job aids, templates, forms, flow diagrams, and presentation materials. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for creating and updating comprehensive training programs, ensuring that they align with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine job aids, templates, forms, checklists, flow diagrams, and presentation materials related to technology project management methodologies.
  • Design, implement, and deliver training programs tailored for technology project managers.
  • Advise on best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant content for documentation and training initiatives.
  • Coordinate with management and key stakeholders to secure approval for developed procedures and training materials.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor training initiatives, assessing their effectiveness and providing coaching as necessary.
  • Work closely with program managers and business leaders to identify training needs and develop solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management and project sponsors.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive background in technology project management.
  • Proven experience in creating written documentation, including job aids, templates, forms, and presentation materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective training programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management principles.
  • Flexible mindset with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of overall IT experience with a focus on technology project management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in creating procedure documentation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in training program development and delivery.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in real-time training delivery and creating on-demand training materials.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent qualifications in project management.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
