Job Overview

Position Title: Customer Service / Product Specialist

Reports to: Sales Manager (SM)

Core Responsibilities:

The primary focus is to guarantee that every client receives outstanding service. This includes managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, welcoming clients, showcasing products, presenting leasing and purchasing options, delivering vehicles, and conducting follow-ups. A strong commitment to product knowledge and customer service excellence is essential.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Eagerness and capability to acquire knowledge necessary to become a product authority.
  • Ability to execute a work plan independently.
  • Genuine passion for assisting others.
  • Experience in customer service or retail settings.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls, arrange sales appointments, confirm and reschedule as necessary, and log all customer interactions into the CRM system.
  • Utilize the CRM work plan to ensure a specified number of outgoing customer contacts (calls & emails).
  • Adhere to established protocols when addressing online inquiries.
  • Respond to customer requests submitted through the website.
  • Welcome clients at the dealership.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and test drives.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to finalize purchase or lease agreements.
  • Facilitate the delivery of new vehicles to clients, including:
    • Assisting clients in transferring personal items from trade-in vehicles to new ones.
    • Updating the inventory management sheet as necessary.
    • Preparing the new vehicle, including detailing and fueling.
    • Explaining features and demonstrating the operation of the new vehicle.
    • Assisting with setting up Bluetooth and other features as applicable.
  • Ensure high-quality interactions with every client.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining dealership displays.
  • Participate in required training sessions and meetings.
  • Meet or exceed performance standards established by management.
  • Comply with company dress code policies.
  • Wear company ID badge at all times.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
