**Position Summary: **

We are in search of a compassionate and driven individual to fill the role of Peer Support Supervisor Trainee. This position presents an opportunity for professional advancement and development in the realm of peer support supervision, with mentorship and guidance from seasoned supervisors. The Peer Support Supervisor Trainee will aid in managing the provision of peer support services, offering support and oversight to peer support specialists, and playing a key role in the creation and execution of peer support programs.

**Key Responsibilities: **

1. **Supervision and Guidance: **

- Assist in supervising and guiding peer support specialists through regular check-ins, case discussions, and performance assessments.

- Collaborate with experienced supervisors to conduct performance reviews, identify training requirements, and provide mentorship to staff.

2. **Program Management and Oversight: **

- Aid in coordinating and overseeing the execution of peer support programs and services, ensuring compliance with program standards, policies, and procedures.

- Engage in program planning, development, and evaluation activities, contributing insights and suggestions to improve program effectiveness and client outcomes.

3. **Training and Professional Development: **

- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in peer support supervision, recovery-oriented principles, and trauma-informed care.

- Support peer support specialists in obtaining and maintaining relevant certifications, licensure, and continuing education requirements, promoting professional growth and development.

4. **Quality Assurance and Compliance: **

- Assist in monitoring program activities, client outcomes, and staff performance, collecting and analyzing data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, best practices, and ethical standards in the delivery of peer support services.

5. **Community Engagement and Collaboration: **

- Foster positive relationships with clients, community partners, and stakeholders, representing the organization's interests and advocating for client needs.

- Collaborate with external partners to leverage resources, coordinate services, and strengthen community partnerships to support program objectives.

6. **Additional Duties: **

- Facilitate peer support individual and group sessions.

- Attend company events for outreach and networking.

- Organize outreach initiatives.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Regional Peer Supervisor, or Program Manager.

**Qualifications: **

- CPFS certification is required.

- A minimum of 3 years of sustained recovery in your chosen pathway.

- Must respect all pathways to recovery.

- Must understand and honor Harm Reduction as a vital pathway to recovery.

- Must adhere to the belief that "You are in recovery when you say you are."

- At least 2 years of experience in peer support, demonstrating an interest in supervision and leadership.

- Completion of Coachervision training within two months of hiring (company funded).

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport and trust with diverse individuals.

- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with a clear understanding of and sensitivity to the needs of marginalized communities.

- Willingness to learn and grow in the role of peer support supervision, with a passion for fostering the professional development of others.

**Benefits: **

- Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $21 to $25 per hour.
