Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Tier I and Tier II technical support to clients and colleagues, including assistance with applications and hardware, troubleshooting network issues, and managing requests related to account administration, training, and documentation of software and system statuses.
  • Install, maintain, configure, and repair IT devices and software, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals, primarily in a Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 environment.
  • Utilize tools such as Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC), BMC Remedy, and Dame Ware Remote Control to assist users and manage user and computer accounts, security groups, and distribution lists.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to diagnose and resolve hardware and software challenges for the user community.
  • Monitor support ticket queues and emails to ensure timely engagement and resolution for customers.
  • Engage daily with senior technicians and clients, providing information through various communication channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with peers, end users, and external support organizations.
  • Oversee software license management for Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software.
Qualifications:
  • Security Clearance Required: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Eligibility for IAT Level 2 certification such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma with 4-5+ years of relevant IT support experience is necessary.
