As a Lead Risk Management Strategist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating potential risks to safeguard our organization.

Your responsibilities will encompass complex issues where a thorough analysis of various factors is essential.

Your Responsibilities:


As a Lead Risk Management Strategist, you will:

  • Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Conduct research on compliance matters and propose necessary adjustments to maintain compliance with governmental requirements.
  • Assess the potential impact of risks and implement effective strategies to mitigate them.
  • Make informed decisions on complex issues related to project components, working autonomously.
Key Functions:


In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the compliance program by evaluating risks, leading auditing and monitoring efforts, and providing guidance on compliance matters.
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports and data analyses for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's risk and compliance assessment strategies.
  • Proactively identify compliance challenges and integrate business insights to address these issues effectively.
  • Participate in cross-functional committees, representing the Risk Management Department in significant organizational decisions.
  • Design and deliver compliance training programs.
  • Assist senior leadership with regulatory disclosure requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify potential instances of fraud, waste, and abuse.
  • Manage external vendors to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
  • Support additional Risk Management initiatives as required.
Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, or a related area.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare compliance laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:


Ideal candidates may also have:

  • An advanced degree.
  • Experience in a healthcare provider organization.
  • Healthcare Compliance Certification or similar credentials.
