Role Overview: The Facility Planner will deliver essential support services to meet the operational goals of various Business Lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer consultation on master and facilities planning, guiding master plans and classifying work on facilities projects.
  • Prepare, update, and validate Property Records through Asset Evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain Facility Requirements Plans, including Basic Facility Requirement justifications and Facility Planning Documents.
  • Generate and validate project documentation, including economic analyses and cost estimates.
  • Formulate project proposals to address identified deficiencies and surpluses.
  • Establish and validate land use plans by ensuring compatibility across functional categories.
  • Identify and document development constraints and potential encroachment issues.
  • Develop Installation and Area Development Plans for future facilities and existing facility reuse.
  • Assist with Class II Real Property issues, providing guidance and recommendations for inventory management.
  • Review technical work for compliance with established criteria and provide written feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and conduct training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in Department of Defense planning or facility inventory.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Background check is mandatory.
