Position Summary:

As a Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing the technical dimensions of LNG, Gas, and Power ETRM portfolios. Your collaboration with various stakeholders will be essential in providing innovative IT solutions that align with Shell's coding standards. This position requires strong engagement skills and adaptability, particularly in a virtual team environment across diverse geographical locations.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
  • Deliver comprehensive technical support for Endur and its related interfaces.
  • Engage in project work and routine operational activities.
  • Conduct Requirement Analysis, Solution Design, and Implementation.
  • Oversee Unit Testing and coordinate with stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sign-off.
  • Manage Production deployment and provide Post-Production support.
  • Participate actively in design discussions and lead the development of enhancements.
  • Facilitate change management communication and guide development teams to ensure timely delivery of quality solutions.
  • Advocate for streamlined enterprise processes and adherence to IT policies.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in Endur projects, with a solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of the energy and commodity trading landscape, including Oil, Gas, Power, and LNG.
  • Expertise in configurations, deal setup, and reporting frameworks.
  • A systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
  • A comprehensive understanding of business process improvement and risk management.
  • The ability to mentor junior team members to enhance team capabilities.
  • Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $146,000 - $218,000 per year, influenced by factors such as experience, education, and internal equity. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and participation in a pension plan and 401(k). Additional benefits include generous paid leave, disability leave, and various wellness and educational reimbursements.
