As a Senior Technical Advisor specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will engage in the creation of innovative energy storage solutions aimed at minimizing carbon footprints and boosting energy efficiency. Your collaboration with suppliers, manufacturers, and various industry partners will be crucial in applying technical best practices and pioneering advancements. You will oversee peer evaluations to confirm project feasibility and guarantee adherence to best practices, while ensuring compliance with all relevant ENGIE policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines concerning BESS.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide project teams in the selection of technology, design, engineering, execution, and optimization of BESS initiatives across diverse regions, facilitating successful industrialization and standardization at ENGIE.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge in BESS design and deployment, particularly focusing on Li-Ion technology, to enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure safety protocols are observed in BESS deployment, including contracting, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Provide expert insights on BESS design, engineering, execution, and ongoing operations & maintenance.
- Assist project teams in the selection, sizing, and integration of battery technologies.
- Propose enhancements to improve the availability, performance, reliability, and longevity of energy storage solutions.
- This position supports a hybrid work model.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% of the time, including occasional overnight trips.
- Adherence to all ENGIE ethics and safety policies is mandatory.
Salary Range: $146,300 - $224,135 USD annually.
This range reflects the average expected compensation for a qualified candidate. Actual salary may vary based on geographic location, experience, industry knowledge, education, and internal pay alignment.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.
