As a Solutions Engineer at Waterfield Energy, you will report to the Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering, playing a vital role in supporting our sales team.

Your technical knowledge and industry experience in the oil and gas sector will be essential in pre-sales activities, including conducting customer and data analysis, performing market research, identifying client challenges, and crafting customized solutions.

You will oversee workflows and proposals while collaborating with key stakeholders to illustrate the value of our advanced cloud-based energy ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify client challenges and create tailored solutions.
  • Develop and present customized solutions and demonstrations that showcase how Waterfield Energy's products can enhance business strategies and deliver value.
  • Provide product demonstrations and solution overviews to facilitate the sales process.
  • Engage in public speaking events and trade shows to present software solutions.
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to demonstrate the value of our offerings.
  • Work alongside sales and product teams to ensure departmental alignment.
  • Design technical solutions to address data, systems, and application issues for clients.
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes.
  • Communicate effectively to build trust with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct data and customer analysis.
  • Perform market research to uncover industry trends and opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in upstream oil and gas, ideally in Production Accounting or Field Operations.
  • Strong technical and functional knowledge of the energy sector.
  • Experience with energy software, including product innovation and implementation.
  • Understanding of corporate and business challenges within the oil and gas industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in consulting, business development, or product management in energy software or the oil and gas sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • A commitment to continuous learning, particularly regarding the energy sector and Waterfield Energy.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, partners, analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with corporate and vendor interactions is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, particularly in production accounting or field operations.
