Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

That's it. has revolutionized the natural foods sector with its innovative range of super snacks, which includes: Fruit Bars, Mini Fruit Bars, Probiotic Bars, Truffles, Energy Bars, and Crunchables. Each product is crafted from a limited number of wholesome ingredients, with the flagship fruit bars being the top-selling fruit bars in America, made from just two ingredients: fruit + fruit.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate Purchase Orders utilizing an ERP system (Netsuite).
- Engage with senior management regarding PO approvals, providing all necessary information for informed decision-making.
- Submit all Ingredient Purchase Orders to vendors in accordance with company protocols.
- Support the identification of new ingredient suppliers as required.
- Assist with Research and Development initiatives as necessary.
- Foster and maintain supplier relationships.
- Oversee all active ingredient purchase orders and understand shipping timelines.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel on incoming deliveries to ensure accurate receipt of goods in our ERP system and resolve any PO discrepancies.
- Coordinate with all manufacturing sites to ensure timely receipt of all POs, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all quote requests, supplier agreements, and specifications.
- Monitor and report on the status of all open purchase orders, addressing any delivery challenges with management.
- Respond to urgent requests and expedite orders as necessary.
- Prepare clear and updated purchasing reports for weekly presentations or as required.
- Conduct cost analysis when reviewing supplier quotations, including landed costs.
- Assist senior management with additional operational duties as needed.
Essential Skills
- Knowledgeable in supply chain principles and practices.
- Experience in Food/Ingredient sourcing is preferred.
- Proficient in Google Docs, Excel, and other MS Office Applications.
- General understanding of logistics and food manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with Netsuite or other ERP software is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for root cause analysis.
- Meticulous attention to detail and capability to work with complex data sets.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
