Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling new activated carbon, equipment, and services to municipal drinking water and wastewater customers in the Southern US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including operations, procurement, management, consulting engineers, and general contractors.
  • Prepare and document sales proposals and customer communications as required by the company and business unit directives.
  • Conduct activities in a safe manner and attend regional water conferences and organizations.
  • Organize and participate in day-long seminars to educate attendees on Calgon Carbon's drinking water technologies.
  • Keep management informed of all activities, including business threats and opportunities, in the assigned customer and market territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university is required. A degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of Technical Sales Experience is required.
  • Selling or Marketing into the Municipal Water Treatment Market is preferred.
