Job Opportunity

Building Controls & Solutions (BCS) is a leading solutions provider of Building Automation control products and solutions. We provide products and services to Mechanical, Electrical and Controls Contractors working in the HVAC market.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing plans to increase counter traffic and sales in the local service area.
  • Providing technical and product selection support to customers, educating them on our technical and service capabilities.
  • Managing and growing House Account sales, while delivering gross margin goals via pricing management.
  • Maintaining customer expectations throughout the sales cycle, including setting pricing expectations, product availability & lead times, order tracking and delivery, and payment.
  • Assisting in the development and sharing of best practices, both within the branch and with other BCS branches.
  • Maintaining a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for employee and customer interaction.
  • Preparing and delivering Quotations.
  • Entering and processing Sales Orders.
  • Converting Open Orders & Quotes.
  • Entering and Processing Purchase Orders.
  • Managing Customer Returns.
  • Maintaining Customer contact and follow-up by telephone.
  • Identifying opportunities.
  • Outbound calls to House Accounts, including prospecting.
  • Maintaining accurate and orderly inventory.
  • Maintaining warehouse/inventory levels.
  • Shipping products on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service experience.
  • Technical product acumen.
  • Inside sales experience (outbound calling).
  • HVAC experience (nice to have).
  • Controls/Building Automation experience (nice to have).
