Objective

As the Vice President of ATM Operations Strategy, you will spearhead initiatives to identify market trends, deliver insights, and formulate business cases that align with our organizational values and mission of community support.

Your role will involve collaborating with executive leadership to swiftly validate new value propositions, harness innovative technologies, and craft exceptional experiences for both members and staff.

You will oversee the entire lifecycle of new features and necessary adjustments from conception through to execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate collaborative planning with ATM Cash Services, IT ATM Transformation, ATM Management, Branch leadership, and the Digital Channel to ensure strategic alignment and awareness.
  • Identify and propose features, functionalities, and solutions that benefit the department, our members, and employees.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of existing products, brands, and networks utilized for ATM transactions, while staying informed about emerging networks and service innovations.
  • Lead a dedicated team of analysts focused on developing business cases through internal data analysis, industry insights, and partnerships.
  • This team will also manage backlog items related to operational enhancements, stability, and compliance adherence.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of ATM Operations and the VP of IT ATM Transformation to remain updated on industry trends and tools pertinent to ATM software, hardware, and fleet management.
  • Partner with the VP of ATM Operations to oversee the process lifecycle of all modifications, ensuring that all deployed ATM hardware and software meet or exceed performance metrics through effective change management.
  • Work alongside relevant enterprise stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, Training, Legal, Risk) to ensure alignment and support for departmental projects and initiatives, including cross-channel process improvements.
  • Engage with senior leadership on all project intake initiatives, including data collection, leading cross-functional discussions, and participating in project management meetings.
  • Uphold risk management practices to protect the organization; actively share ideas and concerns.
  • Seek opportunities to disseminate knowledge and concepts through various communication methods.
  • Attend industry conferences and peer groups focused on relevant products, experiences, and services.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications

  • A four-year degree is preferred, along with a minimum of five years of experience in the ATM financial sector, including at least four years focused on ATM software and hardware implementations.

OR

  • A two-year degree is preferred, with a minimum of ten years of experience in the ATM financial sector, including six years of experience with ATM software and hardware implementations.
  • A solid understanding of the fundamentals of the modern financial industry is essential.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • A commitment to enhancing member and employee experiences through both quantitative and qualitative analytics is essential.
  • Ability to objectively assess the ATM fleet and provide recommendations to align with the organization's vision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and organizational abilities are required.
  • A dedication to the organization's philosophy and work ethic is essential.
  • Ability to cooperate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders is necessary.
  • Adherence to established work schedules and attendance policies is required.
