Job Summary:

The Receptionist plays a vital role in maintaining internal and external communications of the hospital and community through the operation of the telephone switchboard and front desk reception. This position requires a high level of customer service and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the telephone switchboard and respond to incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage the front desk reception area, ensuring a clean and organized environment that reflects the hospital's high standards.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and preparing correspondence.
  • Support other hospital departments by taking on clerical or general office-related responsibilities as directed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Compensation:

$25.50 an hour.
